For more than 25 years, Dave McCready was a valued team member in sales, sales management, marketing, and general management for two Fortune 500 companies. He later served as CEO for two troubled companies, which resulted in the successful turnaround of the first and the sale of the second.
Over his career, Dave has been responsible for launching a number of successful new products and businesses before co-founding Positive Parenting Solutions, Inc. with his wife, Amy, and taking over as CEO. His expertise in marketing, strategy development, and organizational skills have propelled Positive Parenting Solutions to enjoy dramatic growth increases year after year.
Even though Dave has experienced tremendous business success over the years, his greatest accomplishment is undoubtedly raising his two sons. As a devoted husband and loving father, Dave experienced first-hand the transformational effect of the Positive Parenting Solutions tools.
Before Positive Parenting Solutions created an online presence, Amy taught classes in their local area. When Amy would come home after teaching and rave about the success her parents were having in the course, it was Dave who envisioned what Positive Parenting Solutions could become.
As a humble visionary, Dave left his job in corporate America to ensure that parents all over the world could experience the life-changing effects of Positive Parenting Solutions. Despite the great sacrifice and risk of leaving a secure job, Dave consistently persevered to ensure the Positive Parenting Solutions Course could be an effective online resource to struggling families.
Today, Dave continues to work behind the scenes to ensure every piece of our technological system is serving our members and visitors well. While you won’t see Dave’s smiling face on a webinar, you can be sure that nothing is happening at Positive Parenting Solutions without Dave muscling it together!
During the few moments when Dave is not working, you can find him tearing through trails on his mountain bike while Amy prays fervently he’ll arrive back in one piece. Or, even more likely, you’ll find Dave anywhere his sons are – sports, theatre, concerts, job promotions, graduations, awards ceremonies, etc. He will be the one in the stands with the biggest smile and an overwhelming sense of pride for the young men his sons have become.
